The Deluxe Plaza Motel, located at 6401 Pulaski Hwy in Baltimore, stands as a practical choice for travelers seeking clean, affordable lodging without unnecessary frills. With a modest rating of 3.2, this motel caters primarily to visitors who value simplicity, safety, and convenience.

Guests consistently highlight the motel’s cleanliness and friendly staff. Jennifer Adams praises the thorough disinfection process after every stay, emphasizing the motel’s commitment to hygiene and guest comfort. Robert Francis echoes this sentiment, noting the safe environment and staff’s empathy during a personal emergency. These aspects lend the motel a reassuring atmosphere that many travelers find rare in comparable establishments.

The rooms are functional, equipped with essentials such as a refrigerator, microwave, air conditioning, and cable TV—amenities that suit short stays or road trips. Maxwell Rosemary remarks on the dated decor but finds the accommodations serviceable, particularly appreciating the convenience of the in-room appliances. Stephen Robie points out reasonable pricing and a lenient ID policy, which lowers barriers for guests with less conventional documentation.

Although the motel lacks luxury features like a restaurant, pool, or fitness center, it compensates with free Wi-Fi and parking, enhancing its appeal for budget-conscious visitors. Its strategic location offers easy access to local attractions and transportation, making it a pragmatic base for sightseeing and recreation in Baltimore.

Deluxe Plaza Motel’s straightforward approach, combined with genuine hospitality and attention to cleanliness, creates a dependable refuge for those prioritizing practicality and safety over extravagance. They keep their rooms very clean. They are very friendly and will help you anyway they can. They have nice rooms and , after every checkout they disinfect the entire room , including the beds. They was all blankets and sheets after each checkout. This is the best motel I have found since coming to Baltimore 2 years ago. And I will not stay at any other motel / hotel. This is the nicest , cleanest and it is worth the price of $70.00 a night . If you want clean and safe. This is the motel for you

I rented the room for a week & it was nice. Refrigerator, microwave, 2 beds, cable TV w/remote, the price was reasonable with no security deposit. The only ID I had was an expired out of state DL and it was accepted. Only drawback is that the credit card machine was broke so had to pay cash. Maybe it will be fixed soon.

I stayed at Deluxe Plaza Motel for one night during a quick road trip. It’s a basic, no-frills motel that works if you just need a place to sleep without spending too much. Room: The room was clean, but very dated. The bed was okay — not the most comfortable, but fine for a short stay. There was a mini fridge and microwave, which was convenient. The air conditioning worked, but it was a bit noisy at night. Cleanliness: Everything seemed clean enough — sheets, bathroom, and floors were in decent condition. No weird smells or major issues, which is always a plus for budget motels. Location: Located near a main road with a gas station and a few fast-food places nearby. Not the most scenic area, but it’s easy to get on and off the highway. Service: Check-in was quick. The person at the front desk was polite but not particularly warm or welcoming. No complaints, just very straightforward. Value: If you’re on a tight budget and just need a place to crash for a night, this place does the job. Don’t expect luxury, but it’s decent for the price.

I was actually visiting my niece who had car problems up the street. Motel was extremely clean and safe. Not normal for motels. The staff was very accommodating and sensitive to her situation.
